Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 570 Points | Tied for 1191st
Leon Edwards, TKO, R4
It’s so hard to predict Colby fights because he doesn’t fight a lot, and when he does it’s usually after he’s gotten 1 year+ to study his opponents game or his opponent has just been so far over the hill it doesn’t matter. I personally don’t think Colby has the power in his hands to hurt Leon and I don’t think he has the wrestling to hold Leon down in dominant positions. Colby has Magic cardio but I personally thought Colby looked tired in both Usman fights. He also tends to get hurt really bad when hit clean. I would like to see Colby with the WW Title but I just feel like his time may be over
Pantoja vs. Royval II
Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R2
I got Pantoja by submission but this could go either way. Everyone should be expecting a FLYWEIGHT WAR!!
Rakhmonov vs. Thompson
Shavkat Rakhmonov, DEC
Shavkat is 17-0 with 17 finishes. If he can’t catch Wonderboy with one shot I believe this will be Shavkat’s 1st Decision win
Ferguson vs. Pimblett
Paddy Pimblett, SUB, R3
If Tony loses here it’s time for the UFC to save Tony from himself. If Bobby Green is able to sub 39 year old Tony then I believe Paddy will be able to as well
Luque vs. Machado Garry
Ian Machado Garry, TKO, R2
I can see Garry dominating this bout, but I could also see Garry getting chinned early & finished or getting chinned after dominating a round and it going to a split
Garbrandt vs. Kelleher
Cody Garbrandt, TKO, R2
I got Cody but this fight just doesn’t make much sense other than getting Cody a winnable fight to help build his confidence.
Gaziev vs. Buday
Shamil Gaziev, TKO, R1
Heavyweight MMA at this mid tier level is hard to predict. I’ll probably go back & forth on this one a couple times

It's also the 3rd fight in 10 months for Emmett who took a beating in his last 2 and especially the last one against Topuria. He was asking his corner after round 3 what round it was in that one, then went out and got brutalized for another 10 minutes. I'm surprised he was cleared to fight less than 6 months after that one actually as I frequently see fighters being barred from competition for 6 months after getting beat up. He's also 38 years and 9 months old.
Kinda tough to make a pick here for me as I think Mitchell is pretty awful on the feet and somewhat chinny and Emmett throws with serious power. I don't give much for Emmett's wrestling though any more than I do for Gaethje's wrestling.
I don't care if a fighter was the best wrestler in the world in college or whatever. If they go on to not use it for a decade+ in MMA where you never really wrestle anyhow (you MMA wrestle which is a different discipline), then it doesn't count.
Especially for someone with a ****** 46% TDD like Emmett's which hasn't even had any outlier fights where he got taken down over and over where it was really mat-returns. That kinda thing can skew the number and is sometimes the case, but not for Emmett.

Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R4
Royval can easily become champ here he’s got the perfect style to be the first to finish pantoja both men have 50/50 chance to get the sub
Rakhmonov vs. Thompson
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R2
Wonderboy forgot to age man still fighting like a 30 year old and Shavkat’s has always shown a weakness to karate if he wins I think his style is flawless and unbeatable
Emmett vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
This is Emmett’s last chance to become champion if he loses he will never be able to get the belt

Shamil Gaziev, TKO, R1
Buday has fought the lowest competition that the heavyweight division can offer and has 1 finish in 4 fights. Hes a solid fighter but this will be a big, big challenge for him. Buday is not going to be able to walk down Gaziev like he did to those smaller heavyweighgts. I think Gaziev trains at a better team, has better wrestling, and more power in his punches. Buday tends to keep his chin way up in the air when he comes forward. I see him getting clipped by a left hook or an overhand while coming in. Nobody Buday has fought has had the power to test his chin like Gaziev will. I dont see Buday finishing Gaziev anywhere.

Ariane has really evolved since she started training with Nunes, as Gliese already said. If there are some takedowns from Casey, I guess Lipski is gonna be able to stuff at least most of it.
On the feet, it's Lispki all night long. It's WMMA, I know, but I'm very confident about her.

Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R1
I see this going more or less the same as the last one & even quicker than the last.
Rakhmonov vs. Thompson
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R3
This is gonna be hard to watch isn't it? To Wonderboy's credit, I see this going to at least the middle-to-late part of the 2nd RD, but since Thompson is a step-up in competition for Shavkat, I see this being not as easy and we may even end up see him getting DEC dubs from here on out as competition gets tougher.
Luque vs. Machado Garry
Vicente Luque, TKO, R1
Idk why, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the MMA Gods shall grace us & I see Garry getting put out by Luque in this fight. Could I be eating my words come Sunday? Very much so, but I'll take my chances. Luque also has a lot of underrated 1st RD finishes in his career and I just feel like he has more ways to win here than Garry. Luque's def gonna be the hardest hitter Ian is have going to faced come Dec 16th. & I believe all that talkin' is gonna hit back hard
Emmett vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
I could see Emmett completely shutting Bryce's lights out w/ a vicious hook & although I def think he will drop him at least once this bout (via an overhand) I think Bryce is gonna be able to ride this out to a DEC win due to control time.
Aldana vs. Rosa
Irene Aldana, DEC
Understandably after her last performance, a lot of people sleeping on Aldana's chances here or even caring at all. I think she's still got it, and def has a chance of claiming that belt with the division's queen vacating and leaving that #1 spot wide open for the taking.
Garbrandt vs. Kelleher
Cody Garbrandt, TKO, R1
Let's goooo Codyyy!!
O'Neill vs. Lipski
Casey O'Neill, DEC
Pretty back & forth. Wouldn't be surprised to see either take the win here, but I think this is where O'Neill has the chance to jump back on the WMMA hype train once again.
Menifield vs. Jacoby
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Jacoby is waaayy more tactical w/ his striking, but Menifield has the power to shake up his train of thought and second guess himself after a good shot or two. Espcially if he lands those brutal calf kicks on the long legs of Jacoby. A lot of people sleeping on Alonzo here ; I don't mind his chances tbh
Ulanbekov vs. Durden
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Def a DEC here. This'll decide how the lower end of the rankings will go.
Fili vs. Almeida
Andre Fili, DEC
Decent scrap here.
Gaziev vs. Buday
Shamil Gaziev, TKO, R1
Shamil's puttin' buddies lights out & quickly too.
Brown vs. Salikhov
Randy Brown, DEC
All the homies love some Randy Brown action, especially on a stacked card like this. I see a pretty competitive DEC here tho. 29-28 or SPLIT.
